    Reloading question

    I have 124 Gn xtp bullets in a 9mm using hs6 powder what's a good starting load hornady shows 5.1 what do yall think

    Its not a 124gr but 125. Here's what Lyman shows for that. Lyman usually shows a little bit warmer load than some of the others.

    You looking for a hot load or a target load? If target is what you're looking for than 5.1gns is a good starting point. If you're chasing a self defense type of load you'll need to work loads up in .2 grain increments watching for pressure signs. A chronograph would be helpful for sure.
